What is Alucobond® Aluminium External Cladding?

Up close, Alucobond® is comprised of two aluminium cover sheets, and a core made of polyethylene. The lightweight composite material has an extremely flat and smooth surface, yet exhibits rigidity and stability in application. Alucobond® is built for optimum formability, offering unlimited possibilities for creative, innovative and individual planning in all kinds of commercial and domestic projects.
Alucobond® can be curved, bent or shaped to any angle. The aluminium composite material is compatible with any curtain walling system to a close fit. It can be used as a fascia, as a cladding panel, like signage, and for interior applications as well. The components can be easily fabricated and fitted on site, with a wide variety of sheet sizes and thicknesses to choose from.
CHAD Facades supplies Alucobond® in over 80 colours and finishes, including standard colours, complementary colours, clear anodised colours, spectra colours, and natural and wood designs. Custom colours are also available upon client request.
